Hitting lvl 50 can be the most rewarding feeling when playing final fantasy. You get your class gear, you finish your class quests… and then…what next? I will list what I and others have done and others after reaching lvl 50 in hopes that it helps. I will also put a future post up about the way the relic weapons work.

I'm lvl 50…now what check list-
1. Have you done your class quests? If not do this first…you get the rest of your abilities as well as your lvl 50 gear.
2. Complete the main story line.
2. Decide if you want to go for your soldiery weapon or your relic weapon. Soldiery weapon base is i100 and with a sands of time goes to i110 and the relic starts out at i80 and goes up to i125 with lots of grinding. Whichever you want to do is up to you. If you have the time go for the relic if not the soldiery is good enough.
3. At this point you can go for your relic grind or work towards your gear. In my experience gear over weapon.
4. Unlock all the HM and run them at least once….get that soldiery.
5. Once you have enough soldiery go to Mor dhona and turn it in for the appropriate gear. Once your item level is above i80 I would start your relic quests.
6. Work on your relic or soldiery weapon (1300 sold and one unidentified allegan tomestone that drops from ST)
7. Unlock CT and ST
8. Grind ST (once you have a decent weapon and at least some gear over i80). Doing this will give you tons of soldiery and i100 gear. This also gives you the sands and oils you need to take your gear from i100 to i110.

If you do this and can get your main class to an average item lvl of 100 you're ready for the coils and the extremes.

NOTE: Don't forget to do your roulettes daily to get extra soldiery and don't forget to spend that soldiery. GEAR over weapons!!!!
